We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Before the news, would all members of the class, particularly those who live in those states served by the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals, stand and join in saying - loud enough so even those thick-skulled "Justices" on the "Ninth Circus Court" can hear you - the Pledge:
As Rush has often admonished his listeners, the following is somewhat distrubing, and you may want to scroll down past this.

You have been warned...
For anyone who doesn't believe what the Palestinians are teaching their youth isn't a religion of death, the Israeli Defense Force released the following photograph of an infant found in the Hebron home of a Palestinian man wanted by Israelis:

An explosion, belived by many to be the work of Al Qa'eda and the Talibums, in a munitions store in southern Afghanistan, killed five and started a fire in a UN food center.
A major battle is underway in the Philippines against a guerrilla group associated with Al Qa'eda.
Two men who were part of Iran's delegation to the UN, and who were in this country for only about four months, were expelled after being seen videotaping such things as the Holland Tunnel, Brooklyn Bridge, and other landmarks.
A Muslim lady in Florida is suing the state saying she does not want a photo of her on her driver's license not wearing a veil. Prior to September 11, she was allowed to have a photo wearing the veil, but after that date, the Florida authorities insisted she (and presumably others) replace it with one showing her visage as a matter of public security.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
It came as no surprise when the U.S. Supreme Court, having bought the elimination of God from the Pledge of Allegiance, held in a 6-to-3 decision:
" As evidenced by these words in the Declaration of Independence 'the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and nature's God entitle them' and 'are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights' it is manifestly clear beyond any dispute that this nation was indeed founded on the belief in God.
"Therefore, we find that the United States of America is in violation of the Constitution of the United States, which we hold forbids the recognition and mention of God, and is hereby and forthwith abolished as being patently unconstitutional.
"Further, we censure ourselves for having found no practical way in which to write this opinion without uttering the G-word."
I think this is a prime example of what the President often speaks about, that God takes that which is meant for evil and usees it for good.
Look how many people had their faith strengthened during that time, or who turned to the Lord for the very first time. It made us more loyal citizens, more watchful, and when September 11 happened, we understood immediately the danger we faced.
I have watched all through the campaign repeated examples of things being meant for bad being turned to good...starting with the debates, the mole, the Rat ad controversy, the re-count cliffhangars, and on through the President's Inauguration and his beginning months of service.
I sincerely believe that President Bush was called, as were we, to stand up for our faith and for this nation. I continue to pray for him and for all in his administration, and for the nation. And, like Barbara Olson, I believe good will prevail.
I believe, sincerely, this Nation was finished if Tree became President in the aftermath of the 2000 election.
At the time, I easily envisioned a scenario where the Republican dominated states seceded within weeks due to pressure from their electorates. The remaining states - about 15-20 - except for three (CT, RI, MA) - would have been wracked by internal dissension, if not outright violence, to the extent they would be ungovernable. Those five would have been Algore's "Nation" - roughly about five percent of the total land mass of the conterminous United States.
I immediately understood I was in danger. I will say it took several days to figure out what that danger really was (maybe because I was preoccupied with being in one of the target cities - I don't know).
I still think we are in danger.
Thanks for your thoughts. Emotion and then logic took over during that period. We (all of us) were not comfortable (to say the least) during those days.
I couldn't believe that I was preparing for...well, you know.
I truely believe this nation is watched over by the Almighty.

Fasten your seat belt, Warner is going to be in office a while. Don't know if the Pubies in the legislature can calm his statis ways.
Oh, nevermind, come on down here and we will insure no state income tax or liberal whining.

I don't do it often, but every once in awhile I drive by the Pentagon.
The three-mile drive up VA route 110 will sober up anyone who thinks business has returned to usual - and real quick.
VA State troopers at every off and on ramp. Not one car, usually two, sometimes three. Often they are out of their cars patrolling the interchange. Weapons at the ready. And they aren't carrying pop guns.
And they aren't kidding.
Recently there was a truck driver who went south on VA 110. Trucks of any sort (excepting pickups and SUVs) have been banned on that highway since September 11.
The man wasn't just given a traffic ticket (he got that too - for failure to observe a traffic control sign). He was stopped by VA police, several of whom surrounded his truck with semi-automatic rifles at the ready position. He was hauled off, thrown in jail, arraigned before a judge. (It didn't help he was Arab.) Only at that point did folks come to learn he really was lost.
Word of warning - do not be driving a truck and get lost near the Pentagon!
But, back to the point. Security is very visible, very tight, and very much meaning business.
lysie, when my older son was little, he had his guardian angels working round the clock. He fell from the top rung of the ladder of the "big" slide in the playground as a 3 year old, fell out of the passenger seat of the van and hit the pavement face first, and ran headfirst into a sliding glass patio door, shattering the glass. I wasn't there when he tried to run through the glass door at my mom's house, but I was the other two times and I could literally see him being cushioned during his falls by the angels holding him in their loving arms and causing him to hit the ground so softly. He came away from all of these incidents without so much as a scratch or a bump on him.
Okay, now I've got the tears going as I relive those moments ... God is so GOOD. Our God is such an AWESOME God ... THANK YOU, Lord, for EVERYTHING.
Boy, won't McCain be surprised.
Amen.

Even though we have many strange things happen here, we STILL don't have an income tax and JEB is still governor.
Plus, mi casa es su casa.

On you of course.

McPain (R?-Media) doesn't care.
Seriously.
If the Supreme Court bounces CFR - as it will, and as he even expects that it will - guess what?
Three things:
1. Instant publicity - the thing he craves more than anything else, it appears.
2. Instant victim status - he was the good guy only trying to do good things for us folks.
3. Rhetorical martyrdom - he will be back out on the speech and tour circuit, denouncing the Supreme Court and "vowing to resurrect and structure a new CFR that will be acceptable to the Court."
It's coming, sure as the sun rises in the East.
But that shouldn't deter us - CFR must go. We just need to be aware of the consequences so we can plan for them.
