AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 522) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 27, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 06/27/2002 4:12:47 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

In a moment, the news, but first a very special message for the most highly distinguished jurists who sit in judgment on the United States Circuit Court for the Ninth Judicial District:

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE
TO THE FLAG
OF THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC
FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
ONE NATION,
UNDER GOD,
WITH LIBERTY,
AND JUSTICE,
FOR ALL

And now, the news:

The WorldCom announcement has reverberated through world currency markets. The dollar was near free fall, and crashed in value through several key milestones; the Euro is nearly on par with the United States currency.

An agreement has been reached between AMTRAK and the Administration how to finance a $200 million budget shortfall in the railline. Congressional assistance is required to finish the deal.

The chief US border patrol agent yesterday said the United States has an obligation to care for those illegal aliens who cross over the border into our Nation.

China intercepted an US F-15 north of Taiwan, coming within 150 feet of the aircraft - the closest since the incident on April 1, 2001.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Write your Congresscritters. Ask them to codify the current language of the Pledge into a Constitutional Amendment.

It will shut the courts up for all time.

The proposed Amendment would read along the lines:

Article 1: There shall be allowed a Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and it will take the form:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, with liberty, and justice, for all."

Article 2: Congress shall enact the necessary legislation to effect the language of this Amendment.

Article 3: This Article will become a part of the Constitution of the United States with the concurrence of three-fourths of the several states within seven years of its submission thereto by the Congress.

I found this buried in a Sacbee article about Mister Newdow yesterday.......

It seems he and his daughter felt like "outsider's" for quite awhile...

Newdow, an emergency room physician with a law degree acting as his own attorney, recently lost a bid in federal court in Sacramento to halt President Bush's faith references.

But a federal judge last month tossed out the suit to make President stop mixing politics and his Christian faith.

Newdow, 49, built his lawsuit against Bush around a prayer delivered at the 2000 inauguration by the Rev. Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, that was based on Christian beliefs and referenced "the Lord Jesus Christ."

Newdow complained that permitting any prayer at a presidential inauguration violated the First Amendment's establishment clause.

And, he said, Graham's references to Christian figures and concepts "further excluded theistic non-Christians" and "showed a preference for a particular religious belief." The prayer made him feel like an "outsider," he added.

He did not seek monetary damages but asked the court to enjoin Bush from drawing Christianity into his duties in the future.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Kristin Sudhoff Door argued that courts lack authority to meddle in the internal affairs of other government branches.

Good morning all.

Never have I been more incensed by a court decision as I was by the the decision handed down yesterday by the 9th kangaroo court of weasles. I feel as though everything I've spent my entire adult life defending as a proud memeber of the Air Force was just given the middle finger by these two purveyours of judicial stupidity. It's obvious these morons do not understand that our Constitution garuntees freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion...

I was listening to Sean Hannity yesterday afternoon, and a little girl (about 4 or 5 yrs old) called in to talk to him about spanking (she was in favor of it!) and before getting into the topic, Sean asked her if she knew the Pledge of Allegience, to which she said yes, and then proceeded to recite it on the air...that alone almost brought tears to my eyes to help wash away some of the anger I was dealing with...maybe there is still some hope left!

America – The Right Way!!
The Daily Update – June 27, 2002

REMEMBER THE TRADE CENTER!!

AMERICA’S WAR ON TERROR – Day 290

The news as reported in The Washington Times:

[Note – All links go to The Washington Times’ website.]

1. The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled the Pledge of Allegiance enacted in 1954 is unconstitutional because its inclusion of the words “under God” constitutes an unauthorized endorsement of religion; experts overwhelmingly predict the Circuit Court’s Opinion to be overturned by the Supreme Court.

[Write your Congresscritters. We need an Amendment so this never happens again!]

Pledge ruled unconstitutional

2. President Bush will not budge one iota on the need for Arafat’s ouster.

[It is said the Israeli evidence solidly linking Arafat to financing terrorism provided the key to the President’s opinion. IOW, Arafat is an idiot – why on Earth would he, or the Europeans or the UN for that matter, believe the American President would react any differently after this Nation’s experience on September 11, 2001.]

Bush won't budge on Arafat ouster

3. The Washington Times has been bringing us news and views for 20 years.

[Yawn – Day 4,543 of this story.]

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS: The Washington Times

4. A Federal judge has ruled unconstitutional the law that allows the State Department to designate groups as terrorist and allows those who then support those groups to be prosecuted. The Government’s anti-terrorism campaign has been jolted, and would be thrown into disarray if the decision stands on appeal.

[This District Court Judge is in the Ninth Circuit. Want to wager on how the Circuit Court will rule? We need to place our hopes in the Supreme Court and we need to start impeaching some of these judges for their treasonous acts in a time of war!]

Judge strikes down law citing groups as 'terrorist'

5. In the closest encounter since April 1, 2002, a Chinese jet flew within 150 feet of an American reconnaissance plane.

[Initial reports had the American craft as an F-15. This dispatch shows it to be another P-3, such as was used on April 1, 2001.]

Chinese jet fighters fly near U.S. spy plane

6. The financial markets were rattled by the WorldCom announcement.

[If there’s very bad news, dig deep and you will find UOx42 or his cronies. Would not be surprised to find that again here.]

WorldCom revelations rattle markets, investors

7. The chief US Border Patrol agent says the United States has a responsibility to care for illegals who cross into our Nation.

[No, we do not! They are not supposed to be here. This Nation has a responsibility to round them up and send them home. Period. This man needs to be fired!]

Top agent says U.S. must care for illegals

8. Twenty percent of the District’s police cars are in bad need of repair, but despite of heightened security requirements for next Thursday in light of the War on Terror, the city government has no plans to accelerate their repair and put them back in service before July 4.

[Yep, that fits the general approach of demonflops to the War. Incredible.]

Cop cars in D.C. in woeful disrepair

We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

AND A GOOD, 'EARLY BIRD' A.M. TO ALL OUT IN FREEPER LAND, USA FROM THE MS GULF COAST, USA!!!! I will tell you the truth, what I have been doing is getting up early and pratice, I pratice at being # 1 on this site like a prize fighter, I work out, run 5 miles, do 1 hour of finger exercise, you see, its hard work go be # 1.

I went to bed and woke up with the news of the el nuto judge ruling as he did on the pledge in Ca. But, it doesn't surprise me, we are living in an area of an all out assualt on God but, God will win out in the long run.

I was born in 1936, no TV, when you used the phone you gave Mabel, the telehone operator, the phone # you wanted to ring up. When you did something wrong, the policeman would take you home as he knew the parents would 'correct the situation'. In the 40's in school not only did you say the Pledge but prayer was said over the intercome system (we called them 'loud speakers'). In the 40's after school we would run home, no busses, walked to and from, rain or shine, just to hear 'The Shawdow Knows, the Lone Ranger' and would send in the dimes and a box top so we could get the decorder ring or whatever. In Jr High, you still waled to school, if you showed talent you could take typing, the manuel ones at that, the phones were begaining to get dial rotary types, there were no cell phones and the drink bottles you opened with a bottle opener. Even in the 50's when I called home to talk to my mother you spent the first five minutes when you got the operator talking about what was going on, we all knew each other. When I went on the Police Department, we had two walkie talkies for the entire dept., the antena on the patrol cars were the tall 5 footer on the rear of the car, we carried revolvers and you dressed as a policemen, not as a swat team member as is today.

But, look at where we really came from, horses were the mode of transportation since Adam and Eve until the early 1900's, babies were babies, a stark difference as when some kids riding their bikes found a box with, as they told their parents, was full of babies (aborted ones) but when the politicians were finished with it, it was considered by them as 'medical waste'. Where God was revered, today he is banned, before 1930 it was constitutional for the govt to collect money to give to someone who didn't have it, you worked for it.

Something has got to give and this nation get back on it tracks. It it time for the '15 minutes of fame seekers' to get a life, to leave us alone. It is time for the court to realize that they and they alone can NOT madate morals ON us. And to tell it as it really is, its time for this country to elect a repubican Senate and repubublican House so we can have decent, stright thinking judges on the bench. It is also time for the Senate to allow a up or down votes on OUR President W's' appointments to be bench.

Sheesh, my soap box is tired so, I will be off to daughters (two houses down) for that third cut of coffee so, I pray the you be kept safe from accidents and be free from illness. Prayers for OUR President W, he needs the backing from both bodies in these serious times and, for the ELDERLY, we have lived in the days when things were simple, being of God and country and we pray that it will return. Have a good day.

I was the only person in my homeroom reciting the Pledge of Allegience every day and had to quiet down some kids during it! None of them repeated it the whole tme I was there! It was dishearting! Those seniors were totally indoctrinated by the liberal leftist teachers. I asked all 3 of my senior classes who were Americans one day and only 4 or 5 of each class raised their hands or even knew!
