Maybe it's a movie about the book "Solaris", by Stanislaw Lem, a relatively minor work of science fiction characterised primarily by weirdness.

Yes, I just saw the video teaser on my ultra high speed internet connection, and it's definitely the movie version of the book "Solaris".

Nah, it's about a really amazing Atari 2600 video game cartridge (one of only two cartridges I've seen from Atari itself that put the author's name on the initial screen, the other being "Radar Lock").

I saw the Russian version several years ago. It would have to be seriously jazzed-up for American audiences. I nearly slipped into a coma.
