Chair...my brother works for WorldCom in Atlanta. I don't know if he'll be able to keep his job or not. I am betting not. Not to mention that all the shares he owns are worth zilch.
I was watching Neal Cavuto this morning and he said that given the futures and the problems with WorldCom and Cantor Fitzgerald, we can expect to see the number plummet right at the beginning of the opening bell, maybe as low as -250, which would put it at under 9,000 for the first time in HOW MANY YEARS? We also own WorldCom stock, but it's too late to get out of it now.
Now, I may be confused...but in the paper it said the "Clinton-based company"...but I am thinking that they are talking about a certain city, not a certain ex-president, is that correct?
It is being reported that 15,000 will lose their jobs.
