AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 521) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 26, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 06/26/2002 4:18:31 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

WorldCom discovered for the entirety of 2001 and the first quarter of 2002, its CFO was overreporting earnings - to the total tune over the period of nearly $4 billion. Arthur Andersen was the accounting firm; they claim their work was in compliance with SEC standards and that it was WorldCom's CFO that was withholding data from them. The Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation. A preliminary search of the Internet has not, so far, turned up any connections with the previous Administration. Give it time.

Martha Stewart is now facing a wider investigation into her stock dealings. She says she wants "to concentrate on [her] salad."

The FBI searched a home near Ft. Ditrick. The home belonged to a scientist with access to anthrax.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I like Spam, classical music, baked brie, boats, and pickup-trucks.

I knew there was a reason I like you! grin! Serves the "lofty libs" right.

A few years ago, when Mr. Marple was working at the airport sorting mail (during our hard times) he would get home after midnight and I would make him two fried Spam sandwiches and a beer.

We are fond of Spam. It is the symbol that we can make it through hard times. And I still like fried Spam on toast with LOTS of mustard!

LOL! That Twinkie recipe reminds me of those White Castle hamburger casseroles.

By the way, I am the proud owner of the White Trash Cookbook.

I am not making that up. Maybe I will dig it out tomorrow and post a few recipes.

Maybe you should place a box of Twinkies next to it. I think the shelf life for Twinkies could be measured in decades.

Recovering from the surgery. They didn't get all of the tumor. They think radiation therapy will help. It's not in our hands.

Do you really think someone who eats a Twinkie looks at the nutritional info?

Jacob sailed through the surgery. His hematacrit is rising on its own (went from 17 to 27 in a matter of hours), his LDL, which indicates how fast the red blood cells are being chomped by his body is going down. These are both really good things. And they just started the dialysis, which takes anywhere from 6 to 16 hours. He is doing better, this is the best news we've had on him in a week.

My sister-in-law is doing really well also. Her doctor will release her to go home on Saturday. Her lungs were full of blood clots, but she responded immediately to the medication. Her doctor says this medication just eats through those blood clots like Pacman. I called and talked to her this afternoon, and she did sound good.

Thanks for your prayers. I know prayer works and so does faith in God.
