We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
WorldCom discovered for the entirety of 2001 and the first quarter of 2002, its CFO was overreporting earnings - to the total tune over the period of nearly $4 billion. Arthur Andersen was the accounting firm; they claim their work was in compliance with SEC standards and that it was WorldCom's CFO that was withholding data from them. The Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation. A preliminary search of the Internet has not, so far, turned up any connections with the previous Administration. Give it time.
Martha Stewart is now facing a wider investigation into her stock dealings. She says she wants "to concentrate on [her] salad."
The FBI searched a home near Ft. Ditrick. The home belonged to a scientist with access to anthrax.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

You are right about Rubin. In the 90's he propped up both the dollar and the economy thru gov't. bond maneuvers...I don't think O'Neill is doing those things.
Rummy is up next on Fox!!

LOLOL..how
is it that Moussaui was declared "sane" enough to defend himself? He wants to
investigate the jury???? HELLO?
Just goes to prove what an idiot he is...although, I'm not quite sure that he is, I am thinking more along the lines that he is a lot smarter than we want to give him credit for, and is just playing to the reporters. I don't like this guy at all.
And..the # of people being laid off from WorldCom is 17,000..most of them being "contractors" and 8,000 are regular employees. I have yet to find out if my brother will be one of those laid off.

The US Court of Appeals out of SAN FRANCISCO has just ruled the pledge of Allegiance unconsitutional because of the phrase "under God." (Red Skelton must be weeping from heaven.) Until this is overturned, no public schools within this district may recite the Pledge, includes California, Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon.
WE NEED CONSERVATIVE JUDGES!!! TAKE BACK THE SENATE!!

Wonder if Russia or Japan would like to have CA. I will gladly work on their behalf to have it, Gov Davis, court system and all.
To: Miss Marple
I was shocked when I saw this on TV. Whats wrong with those judges, they must be out of their gourd. Can't they leave anything alone? I am now convienced that they are 'one of them' cause acts like this they sure are not with us.
To: gulfcoast6
Well, flyover country is bound to be furious. I sure am.
I wonder how those folks in Alaska feel...bound by this decision because of an atheist in California!

A real quick update this morning. My sister-in-law is doing extremely well, she responded immediately to the medication, was moved out of ICU this morning to High Observation, and should be home Saturday or Sunday. She is still very sick, but it is not life-threatening now (her lungs were full of blood clots.)
Jacob went in at 10 am this morning to put the dialysis tube in his stomach. He will have to have dialysis until his kidneys start functioning on their own again. I haven't heard from my mom yet how he did, but they were able to put a feeding tube in his nose yesterday to bypass the pancreas. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers again. It is truly appreciated.

I am going hunting to see who these 3 judges are and who appointed them...

Obnoxious atheist on Fox by phone now. His name is Michael Nednow. He is the typical liberal jerk.
To: Utah Girl
That little one has plenty of fight in him, good gracious! Thanks, Utah Girl. Prayers continue for you and yours...
