We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
President Bush stated yesterday that he supports the notion of a Palestinian State, but not with Arafat as its leader - he must go.
The FBI, using authority granted by the Patriot Act, is now going into libraries with search warrants checking on the reading records of people they, with a court's assent, believe are terrorists or working in concert with terrorists.
Wildfires in the west are consuming acerage at a rate about double the usual 10-year average.
China is planning to buy eight more Russian submarines.
President Bush has signalled he does not want to see AMTRAK shut down.
And shares of the Martha Stewart company Living Omnimedia fell by 18% yesterday.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

My understanding is that they decided to ship her after the CAT scan, so I trust the Drs to do the right thing, and err on the side of caution.
This information that I am passing on is the best that I can get, but the reliablity is running about 80% and the sources range from word-from-on-high to what a 14 year old thinks she heard. I try to firm up information from the latter before I pass it on.

My load is light, compared to that of the parents of the injured and dead. And I have one of the best support systems known to mankind, ATRW.
I am going to go take a nap in a bit, since everyone is gone. And I may take Trill out to dinner again tonight, so that no-one has to cook or clean. I take care of myself ISB, because if I don't, I become part of the problem, and not part of the solution. Thanks for the hug.

Know what, Dog ... it's still civil ... really!!
Oh ... there's some nuts out there to be sure ... and I think the emotional mix splintered after the election ... we were all united towards one end ... getting rid of wjc ...
Once done ... 'tis only natural that a few act like a dog who lost his well-chewed bone ... he's confounded and confused ... and can't figure out what to do with himself. HAR!
I have posted more lately than I normally do ... and on one thread where I thought I would be blasted ... instead ... I was treated with respect and thoughtful replies ...
There's a handful of insane ... imbalanced gnats in the fruitbowl of FR ... I don't think it's any more than that ...

Nita's with her mom
The doc reads the riot act
Mom grows up at last
Well ... I like to dream ...
Bitwhacker sails some
Can you set sail in bare feet?
For I don't like shoes ...
It's time to inflict
Poor unsuspecting hungry
ones wanting good stuff ...
HAR!

John, prayers being said for all who have been affected by the bus crash and for baby Jacob, your sister-in-law and your entire family, Utah Girl (when it rains, it pours, definitely). Prayers lifted on behalf of your own sweet selves, too.
kay, have a wonderful trip. You will be missed but I'm happy that you have a chance to get away for a few days.

DJ, prayers for your sister.
gc, what a wonderful story, thank you for sharing it. You and Treva have been truly blessed.

I'm with you all the way, Carolinamom. I read the thread late last night and Levin was already gone by the time I was there. So many of his posts were beyond the pale and I literally gasped with horror and disbelief when I read his comment about "retards". I had to read that one over several times to be sure that he was REALLY saying what I thought he was.
You did a good job sticking up for "the good guys". Jim Rob's position surprises me, too. It's all very interesting and unsettling.

Lookeehere...Mr Levin had an article posted on NRO this afternoon calling the speech a repudiation of the Bush Doctrine.Looks like Mark was pumping up the crowd to push his piece last night.
Not a very honourable thing for him to do, was it?? He should have told us he was planning such a piece....unless he was Freeping and composing at the same time.Tricky fella...
He's also a bonehead, but what would I expect from a lawyer that now thinks he's a Middle East expert??
To: Dog; Guennie
Dog - I have often thought that I must be part Indian. Thus far my ancestry research says nyet - but I'm sure it is wrong. I must be at least 1/4 Native American!
Guennie, it has been so many years since I was last in that wonderful shop, that I can't even remember the name. I can tell you that they had a fabulous museum in the shop and the older couple who ran the place were both from Mexico. We were amazed when we found out that they were Mexican/Navajo/Jewish.
Wonderful people with great stories to tell. They traded a lot of old pawn with the Hopi and he spent a lot of time traveling from reservation to reservation purchasing/ordering everything imaginable.
