Gorgeous pictures. Utah isn't very pretty in the summer, just hot and dry and deserty looking.

just hot and dry and deserty looking.

That's the way it was looking around here the last few years. After the past couple of weeks I think we're getting close to normal. Here's one of Utah, I think.

the addy says bacon utah. Don't know where that's a name or a place. Mr. Betty would love it in Utah, lots of rocks. :-)

After following Johnny's directions for the butter, I must confess that Mrs. lodwick and I have gone through a tube of toothpase and a liter of mouthwash.

Good friends, buy Johnny's product. Cut the dosage by half, if not more.

Do not do as I did, start low and work up to your own correct dosage - not the converse.

Happy condiments to all of you. ;-)

Hey, I thought that stupid grass clump was a wayward bluebonnet. Yes, I could take it out, thought I think it adds character and truism. :)

And I thought Utah had the corner franchise on all the orange barrels in the world. I swear, UDOT sets those orange barrels out just to aggravate us.

And I am so glad you had a pretty good time at the dinner with VP Cheney. too bad about the kids at the table. I love living in Utah and I love kids, but that is one of my pet peeves: people bringing their kids to everything. If it is appropriate, no problem. But I do get tired of noisy kids at movies that are clearly not for kids, exclusive restaurants, concerts, etc.
