McCain, a rep from NM, and a couple others have introduced a bill to pay for "undocumented immigrants" medical bills. This while millions of legal Americans cannot even afford medical insurance.
Democrats AND Republicans in Congress and in the Administration are intent on selling us out. Clinton sold everything he could to China; now it seems Mexico is the next beneficiary.

Well Well. I think I just sent faxes at numbersUSA.com to him about this. McCain and Kolbe are off pandering to the Mexico, while Colorado's Sen. is representing the border state citizens.
And our Governor is the president of the upcoming 20th Anniversary Border Governors' Conference, coming up in Phoenix. I don't have a warm feeling about who she is concerned for, with all her power. She's leaving office, too, so doesn't need to suck up to Arizonan's.

Not to defend McCain, but the reason for the proposed legislation is that the federal regulation forbids any hospital from turning away patients regardless of ability to pay. The Feds are also responsible for the border.
When illegals get sick and injured, and area hospitals are stuck with the bill, who pays? The local citizens. Obviously, the Federal government SHOULD pay, or better yet, better control the borders.

Sorry, I didn't read the entire response to the thread before posting item #23. If you get foxnews, and watched the O'Reilly Factor this evening, you would have witnessed Jeff Bingham stepping into the no spin zone totally and deliciously unprepared. Too bad is wasn't Rino McCain. I chuckle to think he's going through some serious self-recrimination for agreeing to appear on O'Reilly (or am I giving him credit for a conscience?).
