I was just curious and wanting to know what we all do for a living when we're not here scouring the threads of FR. So what do YOU do for a living?

Yes, there are those messy little details of teaching, driving, party planning, helping with homework, cooking, laundry, making appointments, wash sheets, vacuuming, eldercare, scrub floors, change cat box, sweep porch, powerwash deck, taking people to appointments, bookkeeping, dropping off cleaning, sewing/mending, grocery shopping, teaching, washing dog, and, of course, the never-ending loop of emptying the dishwasher and re-loading.
Aside from this (among other things) kind of list, it's a cakewalk. In fact, it leaves me all kinds of time for my husband, community service, volunteering at the school, reading, activism, running a kitchen militia, studying, and serving on several boards.
Okay, I admit it.....I've always hated bonbons and television. (But I tell people that's what I do because that's what they are likely thinking when I tell them I was promoted from executive ranks to stay-at-home mom several years ago.) I'll bet you have true confessions too.....

,,, I manage to stay afloat thru a little commodities trading here and there. Last week I bought cardboard for recycling at 14 cents a tonne. It's up to 16 cents this week and the deal was I had to keep the whole three tonnes at my house.Well at least your "house" is not cardboard. I my need a new roof soon, it looks like rain. I will look you up.

,,, hey, that isn't my house. That shot is taken off my home page. It's originally from an AMEX ad in a magazine. My house is pretty average really. I've got another four though that I rent out. Soon we'll have a fifth. As a hobby my wife and I renovate vintage cottages.
