Biker Advice needed: Aftermarket Seats
n/a ^ | 6/12/2002 | Li'l ol' me

Posted on 06/12/2002 8:07:49 PM PDT by da_toolman

I own a Victory V92C and am looking at buying an aftermarket seat as the stock seat gives about 100 miles before I've got to stop and walk it off.

Wondering if there are any bikers on here that have replaced stock seats before and what they'd recommend.

I'm currently leading towards Mustang. Any Mustang owners? I've heard that the seats actually move you up a little bit, any truth to that?

Any advice would be mucho appreciado. Thanks.

Corbin makes about the best seat you'll find. They are not cheap, but you do get what you pay for.

All I can offer is that I've heard the same about the Mustang seats causing "ride up", and that I've only heard good stuff about the Corbins.

Black over red. Added a lot of chrome, freeway bars, lightbar, windshield, bags, slashcut pipes. 1507cc's of attitude.

Not too bad looking of a ride you got either. Always wondered how they handled.

Instead of throwing out your old seat you could have recovered with any hide at a place I know of in Woodstock IL. Its called Woodstock Custom Leather. I had them cut out the foam on my CBR600RR and put new foam in that was soft. The stuff conformed right to my butt. For my winter project I'm going to have them laser etch a image on a tank bra then carry on to my seat then to the back seat.
The # 815-243-8115 www.woodstockcustomleather.com They can make what you want happen.
