I don't think the moderators are trigger happy at all. There are people on FR who definitely need to be banned. Last week a guy suddenly told me to "stick it where the sun don't shine" - just like that. I went back over our entire exchange and couldn't find anything that might have provoked that kind of reaction. There are people on this forum who only joined to cause trouble and/or are mentally unstable.

No argument there. It seems though that there are some mods with hair triggers - and extremely thin-skinned about comments from users about the mods. If I could suggest one thing, it would be that the moderators develop a thicker skin - they shouldn't take comments directed towards them so seriously, since they have quite a bit of power on the board, and especially in light of the fact that they are anonymous.
