LOL... THESE DAYS? It looks like you've been around long enough to remember some of the flame wars that used to happen on threads that ignited heated debate.
Just as an aside, I originally registered to castigate a flamer that never added an original thought to a thread but just name called and generally kibitzed threads of his choice. I just couldn't stand it and finally called them on it.

I think the problem was he joined, posted a vanity rant and left. That leads me to believe it was a temper tantrum by a single-issue newbie. A vet would have stayed and duked it out.
