Panama Lewis
Panama Lewis, a former trainer, was imprisoned for two years for taking padding out of the gloves of Louis Resto before a 1983 fight against Billy Collins at Madison Square Garden. Resto brutally beat up Collins, and nine months later, Collins died after driving his car off the road into some rocks.
Collins' father said his son was depressed and drinking heavily at the time, and thinks he committed suicide.
Panama Lewis has been banned by boxing commissions around the country from working in a corner or having any official role in a fight.

Interesting tidbit. High security at the arena tonight. Even Lennox Lewis was frisked as he entered the building. Tyson was NOT frisked probably due to a lack of volunteers. I'd volunteer to frisk the gals that carry the "round" signs. :O)
