I just watched and listened to President Bush at Normandy Beach and still have lump in my throat. No postering and fake photo-ops from THIS President but a very moving and sincere tribute to our fallen heroes.

Did you see Laura's outfit today? Fabulous! Black pants and top with a lovely wine red scarf draped like a shawl. It was stunning and perfectly appropriate to the weather and occasion.

And, yes, Dubya was terrific as always. He was so obviously deeply touched by the American cemetery. Only Clinton's foolish groupies would have thought they needed to FAKE a photo op at that location. Kind of like coals to Newcastle.

I was so happy that I could watch Bush this morning at Normandy. Did you see him after he came out of the Winnebago for a little snack? Poor guy was still chewing and wiping his chin.

His speech was amazing and a wonderful tribute to those who gave their lives so others could live free. I taped it for our troops. I hope that it gives them inspiration.
