Liberal Caught Breaking His Newspapers Editorial Policy -- Needs Your Help!

I came across this post on a different board and this person is asking for help...since I know what a great group of people that we have here at Free Republic, I thought that I would share his letter in the hopes that the good people here will help him with his dilemma.

Here is the letter:

=============================================================================================================
I have something I am ashamed of to admit-I've been busted by my paper for using more than one name to get my call-ins (they have a comment call-in line) published. They have a one per month call-in and written letter policy so they can publish everything they get in a timely manner, and I was so depressed about Bush I found a way around it. They must have caller id and they called me at home. They now know my name and I'm stuck now on getting my letters and call-ins published. They had always published everything I submitted.

I had been an almost lone voice trying to fight back with all the rightwing letters. I was frustrated and contacted my local Democratic county chairperson who told me that they supposedly have trouble getting their letters published as they are known Democratic activists ( a cop out as the paper's policy is to print every letter they get - no matter who or where it's from)

I'm really a very ethical person (I don't even speed!) and I have been very ashamed of myself. I had been feeling guilty before they called me, but I was just overwhelmed with all the Bush scandals we knew about here but weren't being reported. I haven't been coping with all the "Bush is king" stuff very well. I guess I was singlehandedly trying to educate the 300,000 or so people who get this paper (the 3rd largest in Wisconsin.) Before 9/11 there were LOTS of negative letters and call-ins in my paper.

Anyway, here's my request: I know many of you will be writing letters after this week's revelations. Would even a few of you be willing to submit a copy to my paper also? Their only rule is 300 words or less, your name, your city and a daytime phone number. They also have a call-in line where you can leave comments to be published (5 or 6 sentences). They publish out of state letters. I'll leave the info here and hope someone out there will have pity on me. I would reciprocate if you need me. Thanks!

HA HA HA! The Appleton Composted Crescent Roll is a pinko paper if I've ever seen one.
They proudly promoted [gag, retch] Gore in 2000. Now this yahoo comes along and whines that he had to break the rules to get his whiny rants published. If this turkey's identity gets out he's going to have to move to get away from the ridicule.

Meanwhile in the real world, many if not most of the letters and call-ins to the P-C are fairly conservative in nature. If there were a lot of libs writing in or calling, their stuff would be published. Score one for the good guys!

This person needs help. Its like he/she thinks they should get a cookie for obeying the law. I bet this is one of the idiots that drives 30 miles under the speed limit, and then slows down more when going through somewhere with a reduced speed. Maybe, if he had put all his points in one letter, and not acted like the fraud he is, he wouldn't be in the situation he is in. Then again, he wants all the face time, and is not willing to share. Typical liberal I guess.
