This is a nice little store (little compared to the megastores of today). They really do have lots of unusual items, as well as regular grocery stuff. I guess independent stores are more vulnerable to union tactics.

Does anyone know how to post a story specifically to a state topic? I subscribe to the Indiana topic and I wanted this story to show up there, but it didn't. I checked "local news" in my choices. Thanks for any help.

I understand that talks still are going on with the union. IMO this may be a ploy on the part of management to bring pressure on the union. The union's upset about management wanting the 6 meatcutters to have the option of getting out of the union.

I thought maybe Atlas was Shrugging.
