A while back I mentioned that my family travel to my wife's home island of Karpathos (between Crete and Rhodes) every August for vacation. We usually spend about two weeks there. You can find out more about Karpathos by visiting http://www.karpathos.org and following all the links there. I mentioned that we'd be willing to put together a small tour for anyone who was interested, and found that some folks were very interested.
Well, now's the time. If you'd like to spend some time on a small Greek Island in the Aegean where much of the traditional island culture is still alive, this is for you! But we need to make the arrangements fairly quickly, as the seats on the connecting flights from Athens to Karpathos fill up quite early. We fly from JFK in New York to Athens, and then on to Karpathos. On the way back to Athens, we usually take an inter-island ferry, which is quite a pleasant voyage. You can see information about the tour we have in mind at my wife's restaurant's website. We'd enjoy having you along, but if you want to accompany us you'll have to let us know pretty quickly.
BTW, if y'all are still going to that island in about 10 years, I might be able to go with......
