When exploring the hills, streams and trails of Alaska, many people like to carry a beer or two, even if it means adding weight to an already-bulky pack, pulk or gear bag. Well, thanks to Kevin Tubbs of Yukon Spirits in the University Center, hauling your favorite brews just got a whole lot easier.

Years ago went camping in the Ten Lakes Basin area of Yosemite.Knew it was going to be a tough hike,switchbacks all the way,so we decided the beer was to heavy.
Got there after a hell of a hike with our 50lb packs.
I walked to the edge of the lake,taking in the beautiful view,looked down and at my feet ,icy cold in the water was a half case of beer.
Yes there is a beer God.

a new spring break favorite, to be sure! Lightweight, easy to slip past hotel security, no annoying broken glass to deal with, but size would be an issue. Will they make 40 oz. beer baggies?
