Pretty cool. Does this mean it's in public domain? Was the limit 95 years?

Who will be the first to offer it as as CDROM or downloadable file?

Gee. I happen to have the "Handy Volume Issue" of the 11th edition. It had belonged to my grandfather.

I have used it for historical references because it is more informative than most modern encyclopedias.

Thank you so much for this. I've been over there for a while, very interesting. This was scanned and there are many scanning-type errors, more than one would think necessary, but even so, a real find.
