Just as long as we don't try to dose the flames with the pints - waste of good ale, and a fire hazard! Is ale alcoholic enough to burn?

Is ale alcoholic enough to burn? The bacteria start dying at 16%/volume and if I remember correctly, 12% is the legal limit in the US. I can ignite the alcohol in wine by heating the wine first and torching the vapor...never tried it with beer or ale.
