I'm not sure about that. It seemed those you got on the side of the road had been sitting there 'stewing' for a while. I've never boiled any myself; Sir SuziQ doesn't like peanuts, so I just never tried it. But I do remember the taste; YUM!

I'll have to try some boiled peanuts this year. But I do love the smell of roasting peanuts...ranks right up there with the smell of baking bread!
