Boromir in the book was a bit scary, because we saw mostly through Frodo's eyes, and Frodo was scared of him. The camera, being less discriminating, gave us a more balanced view of the noble Gondorian. - JenBBut Boromir's the kind of guy I wouldn't mind have protecting me. I'd feel safe. - JenB

I know what you mean. We've been there a couple of times with Mama. She's actually doing pretty well in the nursing home. She was always a social creature (now you know where I get it from!), but being aware that she had Alzheimer's and not wanting to sound 'out of it' in a group had kept her in her house for the most part for the last 4 yrs. Now, her mental state is to the point where she doesn't have that idea of disease anymore so she's gone back to her chatty self, and having all those other old ladies and men to chat with in the nursing home has perked her up quite a bit! But she still has the underlying heart and kidney problems, so it is just wait and see.
