I think that may be the best plan...it's something that would be relatively simple with the right equipment, but VERY messy and aggravating with what I would most likely have to work with. I'll have my car paid off by January or so ( ), so I can start saving up for projects like that!

And the thing is, if you screw up your sheetrock, it's so hard to fix it and have it look nice. My mom pulled the paneling off her sheetrock and it really messed it up. She ended up hiring a pro to come in and hang a very thin layer of sheetrock over everything...sorta like a laminate of sheetrock, you know? Then textured it. It looks great, now.
