I wasn't going to read it, but then I saw some good fan reviews of it online and decided to give it a chance.

Right now I'm reading book 5 in the History of Middle-Earth. If you read it, what did you think of the parts of "The Lost Road" that it had?

It's worth a shot. Took me an hour to read it in the bookstore, there's an 80% chance of me buying it when it's in paperback.
