Thanks all for the suggestions! I think I have a good list to shop with!

I will probably stick with five or so very favorite or classic types to own, but give him a list of suggested rentals with all of your other good suggestions on it!

Have your Dad check out Netflix for online DVD rentals. We've belonged to it for two years and have watched SO many good movies! It costs about $21 a month and he can watch as many movies as he wants; but only keep three at a time with him. As he sends one back (in the handy pre-paid mailer) they'll send him the next one he's put on his rental queue. Best part is he doesn't have to leave the house to do it, or worry about getting a movie back on time. He can keep them as long as he wants, he just won't get new ones unless he sends the old ones back. Check it out at http://www.netflix.com
