The Marine in me just wants to hold reville at yer house at 0400Yeah, and you'd get yer hide jumped on by ALL members of the household. We're all late nighters and late risers; since we've been h/sing anyway. We just like to hang out in the evenings, then say prayers and read about 10 or 11. Sir SuziQ's job is flexible as far as time goes, unless there's a meeting or something.
We're trying to shift the going to bed time to an earlier hour during the fall. It is so hard in the summer when it is still light outside til late, not that we're outside, mind you, but the light is still there! The biggest problem is, our daughter is a night-owl like her Momma!

I'm a night owl too! I was a 3-11 nurse because of it. Now Matthew (who is like me most of all) is also a night owl. Joshua and Steve, the two blonds in the house, like to go to bed early and rise early. But Josh takes a nap daily and that's when we do school. Since we go year 'round, we only have to do a couple of hours a day. We always end up ahead anyway.

We're up till dark, whatever the season. I set the backyard floodlights to come on at dark and when they come on, the kids know it's bath and bedtime. When those lights come on, Joshua just bursts into tears every time...it's almost kinda funny! I don't laugh at him where he can see me though.
Now during the Fall and Winter, that means they get in bed and I read to them. Right now I'm reading Charlotte's Web.
