My dal-brador is chasing all the birds who are trying very hard to find a seed or two under the trees where there isn't any snow. I should put some bird seed out - on the other side of the fence, where they could have a decent breakfast and giggle at the silly dog.

Our golden retriever is similar - he chases deer out of the yard! And barks at joggers - they all know him and tell him "Be quiet, Harry!" It's a good thing he barks at everything, if burglars showed up, we'd be awakened in time to find him licking them to death.
