Does anyone know anything about getting loans for school?

You need a student loan. As Hair suggested, check with the financial aid office of the college you'll be attending (if they have a website, look for student loan information there too). You might also check with your bank and/or credit union, too, as many offer student loans which are guaranteed by your state's student loan agency. You might also check into getting a grant and/or scholarship. Many state and federal grants and scholarships are based on performance on a standardized test (such as the SAT) and your family's economic standing.

I've done all that stuff. I need a loan on top of the scholarships and such I already have, and I guess I need to arrange it now. I'll be going down to school on Friday, I'll ask them there - I was really just wondering if anyone had any information that isn't commonly known that might help me.

I have to take exception to your opinion on deer meat. I absolutely love it and eat it in preference to steak. If I could get enough, I'd live on it. The whole reason I started deer hunting was just to get the venison. Dogs go crazy over it too and I agree with them.

If they are not field dressed immediately they can be gamey, also a gut shot deer tastes strong. Additionally, they need to be hung to drain (the same day they're shot), something that can only be done if it's cold out. To make them taste best, quite a bit of care is required.

But give me deer meat any day, I far prefer it over the best sirloin. We had a steak and venison fondue recently, even my wife and daughter agreed the venison was better than the steak.
