Do you get a cut from any books that are sold from your links? If you do, can you get a link up to The Silmarillion? I am going to be in the market for a copy probably in November or December. I think it would be an added bonus if I can buy one AND help out a fellow Hobbit Holer.

Yes. It's not a lot, just a few percent of the sale, but it helps. I have updated the box to link to the Silmarillion. When I have time, I will add a page with more links to specific items of interest.

you shoulda seen 'em jump outta their skins...

Out of their skins? My, wouldn't THAT be convenient.

But would that make them undressed? OT wouldn't like that, would she? Or was it that she prefers them DRESSED?

I'm so confused!

Oh you should see the kitchen. It's got nice pink and blue wallpaper, nothing wrong with it..the cabinets are just those painted kind, painted a creamy white...very nice. Then they slapped a pink countertop down on it!

That's going to be big deal, when we do the kitchen. I'm going to want new appliances and cabinets and the ceiling redone and the whole nine yarsds. It'll be years yet, before we do it.

My kitchen has painted-over wallpaper. I'm not sure HOW you get that down! I'd like to redo it at some point, but I have no idea how to remove the stuff...

I prefer them away from my car and secondly dressed, marinated, and cooking on the grill.

And here's our bathroom...just getting started priming it. Note the green cabinets? That's what I was working on last night. See the partially painted hinges? Urgh! Now imagine dark EMERALD green carpet!

We tore up the carpet and started painting the walls with primer and Josh came in and burst into tears, poor kid! Too much change all at one time.

And Steve's motto is, "Never do with your hands that which can be more easily done with your feet."

He's measuring the floor for the lineoleum.

My, wouldn't THAT be convenient.

Tell me about it...but I can field dress a deer in under three minutes...once it's hung, I can skin the hide off in under 10...

we got one gal in the neighborhood that asked me not to skin and buther any deer hangin' from the playset...that's not gonna happen...but I will give her a 5-minute warnin' to close her blinds...

I think Miss Dupree is still trying to figure out the precious thing... We have not been very forthcoming with explainations!

She is obviously going to be one of those easily taken over by the precious... as only one precious caused her to succumb... It didn't even take double precious to seduce her to the evil!

Good Morning RMDupree!

Just to let you know.... excessive SPAM sneaking wins you a permanent entry in our Keywords.... (check out the past winners)! (it is the only real power I have over it)

And more than 5 posts in a row is called a funkle, and it means everyone has left and you are just talking to yourself! ;~D

Kitchens and bathrooms are the worst!

Our refrigerator leaked and we didn't know about it until the cabinets closest to the fridge started growing mildew! UGH!

State Farm, being the bandits that they are, came over and the adjustor offered us $5k to repair the damage. Mind you, the wall where the fridge is has to be torn down and rebuilt and the cabinetry replaced. These cabinets are from 1982!!!

My mother asked the adjustor (an Orc of the foulest kind) how on earth we were going to manage to replace just one section of cabinetry when they don't even manufacture them anymore. His response? "Out of the kindness of my heart I have added enough to your claim for you to re-laminate the other cabinets."

I was so angry!! Thankfully, our plumber knows of these other adjustors who came in and now are suing State Farm for much more. It turns out that this mildew can be detrimental to our health and thus, the entire kitchen needs to be gutted and redone.

Long story short - waiting for State Farm to settle. It's terrible since we have been State Farm customers for all of our homes and vehicles for 20 years. It goes to show you how being a long time customer means nothing to these people.

Being a sensible Hobbit, I knew that the chances of me being able to snag any more than a single Precious were slim to none.

I got one while the getting was good.

Now, here's your breakfast....
