I had noted an opus over on the "Serious Forum" and that Texaggie had made a good comment about how they are a version of Munchausens' Syndrome. Now even though some people around here annoy me, I don't want to leave, but I was thinking of posting a good opus or two just for the attention. I mean that thread has 127 posts! So, any good suggestions or comments on how to ctreate an attention grabbing swan-song?
I am also testing to see just how far the moderators will go.

Yes, normally, but if you have Mama, rain and prison, you don't necessarily HAVE to include a dog, unless it fits the story line...... hope that cleared things up for you!

the perfect Country song I thought all that was needed was a broken heart. And a jukebox. And a bottle of JD.

Yes, for the uninitiated, that would be true, but for the true Country lover, ya gotta follow Jerry Jeff Walker's list..... sorry, I don't write the rules.....

We have to leave in about a half an hour here to go to a political meeting. Let's see. Would that be on a General thread?
He'll be calm after flaming all the politicians, don't worry . . . I like him this way, though. His fingers are pounding away!

But that is what this side of the forum is for. The funny stuff. Notice all of the posters above calling it the "Stupid Forum". Well, don't stupidity and humor go hand in hand? Pain and Pleasure, and all that. I think that is what my opus will be about. How much I enjoyed the hurting here. Yeah....., that's it.
Something along the line of "When the cheese started, the fun stopped! Oh the agony!"
It's a working title, you understand, and it probably needs more exclamation points.
And it definitely has to be "For the Children.". But I thimk that I have got a good start on the incoherency part.

Hold on there, girlie. Steve Goodman wrote the song ("Well a friend of mine named Steve Goodman wrote this song. . . .)
Recorded by David Allen Coe.
I love JJW, but that song isn't his.
