Men as well as women cheat on their spouses because they do not take their marriage vows seriously. I love my husband very much and would never cheat on him. My marriage vows mean that I love him through all sicknesses and I love him whether we are rich or poor. We don't always agree on everything but we do agree the part of the vows that say What God has joined together let no man put apart. I think if couples would sit down and seriously think about what marriage is all about they would make sure the spouse is someone they want to spend the rest of their life with.

I’m sure what I have to say will cause a bit of controversy. But I think many (not all) relationships would be better if it were acceptable for men to have a wife AND a “mistress.” I think in general men need more sexual attention or need to boost their ego more than their wives can or will provide them. The reasons given for why men cheat seem to verify this. I also think men may be more capable of loving more than one woman at a time than women are. Perhpas it would make the marriage better if the wife could send the husband away to the mistress every once in a while. And, no, I am not a man wanting two women! I am a woman wanting only one man!
