I did a few missions on one of the campaigns. To me it's more fun to set up a huge random map game, ally with a buddy over the web, and team up against the computer. Very challenging game, even on easy.

Make that "Where where you 20 years ago?"
Sorry for the sloppy proofing...

I've been looking for players of Talonsoft's Capaign Series. Playing the computer gets old.
I tried Axis & Allies on MSN Gaming Zone, but the majority of players there are foul-mouth little kids (Old and Young alike) who are very rude if you don't play it exactly like they want you to play.
Any Talonsoft's Capaign Series players wanting a game, let me know. I am disabled and have lots of time to waste.
Cheers

So we're thinking Doom 3 online, are we?
Do you reckon they have a server set up for it or will
it be tacked on to an existing game server I wonder...
To: Xenalyte
All right, I am here - thread bookmarked. I am all in for Doom 3 and CS2, fun or competitive.

I have read that Doom 3 will be single player only--no online play.
That could be wrong, but that is what I have heard.

I have read that Doom 3 will be single player only--no online play. No freakin way. Online gameplay is what drives modern PC games. Especially FPS like Quake, Halo, UT, ad infinitum.
Who makes Doom?

Who makes Doom?
Id software, unless they've been bought out. Online multi-player is the ONLY way to FPS, so they better have some darn good features for that.

ID software makes Doom.
I'd be VERY suprised if online play was not available.. maybe not
right at startup, but soon thereafter!~ One may hope.

I have read that Doom 3 will be single player only--no online play. It's focused more on single player, but it will have individual and team deathmatch.

The bots can provide quite a challenge.. have you tried Quake 3 Arena?
