President Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post Friday afternoon that chief of staff Susie Wiles is leaving her post and will be replaced by deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.

He said in the post that Wiles had “done an outstanding job” and would be moving to his political operation.

“I want to thank her for her service as Chief of Staff — She has done a great job!” Trump said.

Miller will take over as chief of staff on Monday.

He should have been the Chief of Staff from the beginning.

I hope Suzie is well. I love Stephen Miller, and wish him luck.

Susie Wiles should have never been anywhere near the Oval Office from the beginning. She’s the one who kept Trump in a little bubble of weasels.

I question your premise, that PDJT is in a “little bubble of weasels”. Are you talking about JD Vance perhaps?

My perception is that PDJT has assembled one of the best conservative Cabinets I can recall in my lifetime — and Susie Wiles was helpful if not instrumental in that effort.

premise

I agree w/the premise, though obviously have no ability to prove it.

Chief of Staff is the one who schedules who sees the prez and when. She stated from the get go that she would not do the job without Trump allow her absolute control in that regard because she didn't want the same "shit show" that was the last arrangement.

This is some nice news to balance what happened earlier this week.

Miller is a friggin’ gangsta.

Can you enumerate (or at least give example of) the individual “weasels” that comprise this claimed “bubble”?

The Trump White House has been engaged in the most disastrous and counterproductive messaging campaign of any administration since the GW Bush administration.

Managing messaging is a critical job of the White House Chief of Staff and she failed in epic fashion.

It is also been reported that she sabotaged and torpedoed Trump's press secretary choice in a fit of pique because she was not consulted to give her approval.

I'm not going to go into the relative merits of Katie Zacharia as press sec but Wiles very public dirty tricks to undermine Katie Zacharia and get her removed on the eve of the election did serious damage and Wiles needs to go.
