Fan ejected from NBA game after hitting female ref with ball as melodramatic Lakers star throws tantrum

During the third quarter of Wednesday's Kings-Lakers game, a fan sitting behind the basket got berated by LA star Luka Doncic for throwing the ball back to the ref ... too hard ... after it trickled out of bounds.

That's right. "Too hard." Wait until you see this chest pass this fan launches at this female NBA ref. Better yet, wait till you see the absolute tantrum Luka throws after he sees it.

Naturally, the fan was ejected.

This may seem like a "who cares" moment especially in light of the rise of the insane left but unless there is something that occurred prior, this spectator deserves compensation. Does anyone think the pass was too hard for the female ref to accept?

Almost all tickets to events say one can be removed for any reason so there is that but yes a refund is due and courtside Laker seats I imagine are a pretty penny.

She was turned not ready to catch it and he could have tossed it a little easier seeing that she wasn’t ready for it, but really who cares. She wasn’t hurt and the fan missed a little bit of a basketball game.

It was not that hard. The referee can speak on her own behalf. I’d rather not have female referees in men’s basketball.

Not Luka’s problem. By him making a fuss, it looks like he sparked the ejection, rather than the ref herself.

The spectator who was kicked out has what must be VERY expensive seats, and lady he was escorted looks to be about 20 years younger (hard to tell if he went grey early). I suspect he has money to go after the team/arena/NBA and will get a tidy sum very quickly.

White knight (from Urban Dictionary): A white knight is a man who will go to great lengths to defend women, whether they are attacked physically, verbally, or sexually. Reminds me of when my wife and I went to the races at Del Mar. Lots of very rich older men accompanied by beautiful young women. My wife sarcastically said, “Must be take your daughter to the track day!”
