Yep. This midterm was some sort of statement regarding older people. They hate them. Nineteen, though? They are nuts.

That sure took hold. It is worse than that, though. There are some out there hating on Boomers, Tucker is a main one. He actually said he hated them. The other person agreed in the interview I saw, but I cannot remember who it was.

Watch your backs, people.

Maybe he'll get to the bottom of what BRIAN RAMIREZ was doing in the secure area of the Maricopa County election center in the wee hours of the night prior to this election.

Yes, that's the SAME Brian Ramirez who pulled the same crap back in the stolen 2020 election and STILL WORKS THERE.

There are some out there hating on Boomers, Tucker is a main one.

I was born at the tail-end of the baby boom (1963). I had my first real job at Trinity College when Tucker was a student there, only a few years younger than me.

Job crises, family crises, health crises, and my inability to be a successful career climber means I have no 401K (it was exhausted), never had a fortune, have a house in a neighborhood about as wealthy as Vermont Avenue on the Monopoly board (maybe States Ave. if you want to push it), and I am lumped in with those people who had some combination of luck, fortitude, focus, ability, and hard work, and have a pile. I do not begrudge them their financial success.

But this is the generational version of the "white privilege" thing that somehow applies to Appalachian coal miners.

I am going to assume that the hyperbolic talk about hating boomers (Trump engages in this type of hyperbole as well) is concomitant with a certain type of social media consumption, and may have to be taken at not quite face value. It still isn't kind, and worse, it generally isn't true.

I am about where you are. I was born in ‘59. We own our home but no 401k. Our house is small. We had a crisis early in our marriage. Not kid related. We do not have any. Wanted them, though. Other people’s wealth doesn’t bother ms. I am happy for them I they earned it.

Born in 1960. Raised in a family of Jehovah’s Witnesses who shun prosperity. No holidays or gifts. Married at 18, single parent by 21. Remarried at 26 to a secret alcoholic and another child at age 27 until the physical abuse became intolerable. Single parent again. Finally left the JWs at age 43. No 401K. Shunned by JW parents, I clawed my way up into a career despite not having a degree. To this day having more than one job. As a side note. entered the job market during the worst of the Carter years when you had to beg to get a job at Burger King. No child support from ex-husbands. Bought my first house at age 31. A starter house in the hood.

Now married for a third time to a man who had to pay most of his salary to his ex wife for 21 years of child support while I paid the bills. He was left with literally the shirt on his back only.

Husband has mad construction skills and I have a knack for running a business. We now have a modest, paid off home and vehicles, own 5 rental houses and I was lucky enough to have a small pension. I’m still working full time while running my husband’s HVAC biz. We work our keisters off, working quite literally 365 days a week. Weekends holidays you name it. I defy any under 30 to work as hard as we do.

Imagine that... A 19 year old student elected Maricopa County Clerk.

Kid can’t even legally buy a beer, or sign a contract, yet he is in charge of elections, recording deeds and other property records like liens and mortgages, issuing marriage licenses and maintaining the records of county and local courts.

And knowing what we know about the corruption of Maricopa County in general, even if he is a good, smart and honest kid (Unlikely, given that he is a Democrat), how absolutely ‘over his head’ he is going to be in this job....

Which, I suppose is exactly how the ‘Powers That Be’ in Arizona want it.

Hopefully this is only temporary. We will find out in 45 days when the election report comes out.

Well, he hates Israel too, so that puts this Boomer in good company for the spoiled Tucker Carlson to hate. What an ingrate he is.

We have a 93 year-old senator that just won in Iowa for a six year term. He refuses to resign and allow the Republican governor to appoint somebody. in January, the governor turns to a Democrat, so we have to hope he survives at least four years. now that is what I call crazy!!!!

If you’re referring to Grassley, he was reelected four years ago.

I heard today I thought he was reelected Tuesday. They were talking about him. That’s why I brought it up. I guess he can hopefully last the next two years.

That was the other Iowa seat, which went to a Democrat.
