Lol.

You’re old enough to know that it’s a pendulum.

It’s hard when you’ve grown up in freedom.

I’m old and it won’t impact me for long, but I pity my children and grandkids.

Really?

“They don’t have much time left anyway”

?

A wicked thing for her to say.

And no, I don’t belong to that group.

Yet!

A little different. Those democrats from the 80’s couldn’t be democrats today, they would be label middle-road republicans. They actually did care a little about the country.

It’s not something that isn’t said by many in that age bracket. I’ve heard it from many people in there 70s and 80s and definitely 90s and I don’t blame a single one of them. I don’t think it’s a nasty thing to say by anybody even if they say it themselves. I think it’s just Reality and looking how the country has been turning out lately.

Yabbut, the coming flood or illegal aliens all set up to vote will break that pendulum.

Looking like we may have to shoot our way out of this coming coup.

The game has always been rigged

We’ve abandoned God and his judgement is to abandon us to our own futile thinking. We’re getting what we want and deserve.

Pray without ceasing!

Rom 1:18-32 (NKJV)
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Yes. But those in Reagan's days were not radical Muslims, socialists and communists. Big difference between then and today.

At sure-glad-to-be 87, I’m with you. Recovering from what will be the destruction of what our Founding Fathers put together with their blood, sweat and tears will take a revolution, and we’ve become too soft for that.

I haven’t thought a lot about it, but I don’t think our shift to full blown marxism will be anything like a communist revolution where they are immediately seizing people’s private property en masse. The primary difference (as I understand it) from socialism and communism is that socialism is more about wealth distribution (which is still equivalent to seizure of property, but in the form of taking the ability to be able to acquire and keep it) than it is about the actual abolition of private property ownership and everything belongs to the state.

In other words, there is a chance that seniors might not be hardest hit, for example, and nobody is going to be systematically evicting people from south Chicago. But you can bet that Elon Musk will be.

We may see some drastic moves in the next several years, and there are going to be quite a few news events for things that we might never imagined we would see in America, but it’s not going to be an october revolution.

Thanks for posting that Biblical passage. It definitely describes the modern western world. Just don't forget that there's a solution: the two verses before that.

Romans 1:16-17 (KJV) 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

-----------------

If enough of us Christians are bold about Christ, and live it like we mean it, we change our culture. Just like the First Great Awakening and Second Great Awakening removed the first sexual revolution and got us back to God, God can use us again. I see some things that look like the early stages of another great awakening. It may be time to start getting excited.

We can take back this country, but it will take strong men to take brutally effective measures. An American Caesar is needed.
