OGDENSBURG, New York (WWNY) - A St. Lawrence County woman is accused of driving a pickup truck into a woman during an argument in Ogdensburg.
Ogdensburg city police arrested Kyrie Mitchell, 33, of Lisbon, Sunday night. Mitchell celebrated her 33rd birthday in jail Tuesday.
According to documents filed in court, Mitchell was involved in an argument with Mary Skelly, 52, in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Canton Street in Ogdensburg Sunday evening.
During the dispute, Mitchell allegedly put her pickup truck into reverse. Court papers said she “recklessly struck the victim with said vehicle, which created a grave risk of death and did thereby cause serious injury.”
Mitchell allegedly left the scene and failed to report the incident to police.
The documents said Skelly was seriously injured and taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for treatment.
Mitchell was charged with first-degree assault and leaving the scene of a personal injury motor vehicle accident. She was also ticketed for driving an uninspected motor vehicle.
She was arraigned in Morristown Town Court and is being held in the county jail on $10,000 bail.

Those are “looking for Laz” eyes.
Must have lost the nose ring in the crash.
Nose rings in St. Lawrence county during the winter are frostbite bait.
That look when she notices your MAGA Hat on top of your nightstand for the first time.
Ha.
Worse than trying to touch a frozen steel pipe with one’s tongue. 🥶
Let her go. She was just hormonal....
And you remember you neglected to look under the bed to see if she stashed a butcher knife.
Lol..
