COOPERSTOWN, NY -- The Brewers' World Series win will be forever etched in history and will forever hold a place in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
The Hall on Thursday announced nine items worn by players and coaches would head to its museum to honor the 2026 Brew Crew. On Friday, they announced a very special tenth item.
A special "Ueck" jersey worn by Hall of Famer Robin Yount when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch in Game 1 of the World Series will also head to the Hall of Fame. The No. 19 jersey was worn in honor of the late Brewers icon Bob Uecker.
"The impact that Bob Uecker made in Wisconsin, Milwaukee and for the Brewers is as big as any player who ever played here," Yount said in a statement. "He will never be forgotten."
The other items going to the Hall of Fame are:
Chest protector and shin guards worn by World Series Most Valuable Player William Contreras
Hoodie worn by manager Pat Murphy during the World Series
Bat used by Cooper Pratt in Game 4 and Game 5 when he recorded six straight hits
Road jersey worn by captain Christian Yelich during Game 4
Glasses worn by Aaron Ashby, who set a postseason record for relievers with 18 straight scoreless innings
Batting gloves worn by Sal Frelick in Game 2 and Game 5
Cap worn by Jacob Misiorowski, who recorded the win in Game 5 with 5.2 shutout innings
Shoes worn by Brice Turang in Game 5
Ball hit by David Hamilton for an RBI single during the eight-run fifth inning in Game 3, one of seven-straight two-out hits
The Hall of Fame will display its tribute to the Brewers through the 2027 Postseason.

May he rest in peace—Ueck’s middle name must have been “deadpan”.
Bob was the first person I thought of when the Brewers made the World Series and of how nice it would be for them to win.
I thought of the incredible batting lineup, including Robin Yount. Her was often a 300 hitting shortstop with power and a great glove.
But people forget other great bats like Sixto Lezcano, Paul Molitor, Cecil Cooper, Larry Hisle and sluggers Ben Oilvy and Gorman Thomas. Most of their lineup was guys who would be in the number 3 or 4 spot in the batting order on other teams.
Unfortunately, for pitching they had Mike Caldwell, and no bullpen.
The Brewers did make it to WS but lost to the Cardinals in 7 games in 1982.
I certainly knew of the Brewers’ first appearance in 1982.
BTW, their victory this year leaves the San Diego Padres as the only franchise that began MLB play in 1969 to have not yet won a WS title (as the Kansas City Royals won in 1985 and 2015, the Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals in 2019, and Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers in 2026).
Thanks for SDP update. Didn’t know or forgot..
