Bangladesh and Japan have signed a new employment agreement, paving the way for recruitment of Bangladeshi workers to Japan from 1 April 2027.

The Memorandum of Cooperation on Employment Skills Development (ESDP-MOC) was finalised and signed on Saturday (17 October) following nearly a year of efforts by the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Japanese government, according to a press release.

The agreement was signed by the secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment on behalf of Bangladesh and representatives of Japan's Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and National Police Agency.

The agreement is being considered a significant milestone in the expansion of overseas employment opportunities under the current government.

Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury said the agreement will ensure the highest level of protection for workers and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in sending and receiving workers.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

"Under the agreement, Bangladeshi workers will receive legal protection equivalent to that afforded to Japanese workers and enjoy equal opportunities regardless of gender."

HUGE mistake. Has Japan learned nothing from observing Europe?

Bangledesh, formerly known as East Pakistan, is 91% Muslim.

Europe’s Muslims started as guest workers, too. I hope Japan has a handle on what they’re getting themselves into.

…Just sayin’.

Female leaders ALWAYS betray their promises. Every single time. Meloni promised to crack down on migration. She lied. Now this woman, who campaigned against immigration and Islam, is bending over to both. Even Marine Le Pen - now that she is closer to power than ever - is saying that Muslims are as French as anyone.

Margaret Thatcher appears to be a one-off. the only decent, honest, trustworthy female leader in world history.

Interesting that Japan’s Deep State isn’t looking to hire Americans, UK residents, Poles looking for work.

Gee, wonder why...?

Or if they were solely looking for “cheap”, Filipinos! They’re MUCH less likely to be crazed islamists than Bangladeshis.

What could possibly go wrong? You would think Japan has learned by now that when you import the third world you become the third world.
