Republicans will go to prison if Democrats win in November - Progressives not afraid to say the quiet part out loud
The Washington Times ^ | 22 Oct. 2026 | Kelly Sadler

The casual way Democrats threaten to throw Republicans in prison or prosecute them for supporting President Trump is alarming and indicative of exactly what they will try to do if they win power on Nov. 3.

On “The Bulwark Daily” podcast Monday, Kara Swisher blithely speculated that if Kamala Harris had won the presidency in 2024, Elon Musk might already be in jail and that he “knows what’s coming for him” if Democrats win control of Congress in the midterm elections — though they would not hold that power until the next Congress is seated in January.

“If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I’d be worried if I were him,” Ms. Swisher said. “So they’re going to start investigating again. You think he’s not on the list? He’s at the top of that list.”

Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Michigan Democrat, tried to scare young Republicans from entering public service at an Oct. 13 event at the University of Chicago, saying Democrats would focus on the aides who enabled Mr. Trump’s alleged corruption.

“I want young people coming out of school to say, ’Should I go work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds like fun. I might get an opportunity.’ I want them to be like, ’Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want, and so let me avoid participating in that.’ I want that deterrence message sent,” Ms. Slotkin said.

After the clip surfaced this week, Ms. Slotkin doubled down, defending her comments as “manufactured outrage” from conservatives who want to deflect from tight midterm races in places such as Michigan and Kansas. If only that were the case. She accidentally said the quiet part out loud: Democrats plan to weaponize the government if they win power

Two can play that game.

We are talking about the legislative branch: they can investigate all they want, and they can impeach as often as they want, but they will not get 67 votes in the Senate; the impeachments will fail.

The executive branch can investigate a lot without congressional sanction. In the realm of immigration, the entire Ilhan Omar matter can be dispensed with, without Congressional approval. And once she is no longer a naturalized citizen, she cannot be a member of the House, no matter what the Democrat Majority (if it comes to that) thinks.

It will be ugly, sure. But it’s not the end of the world. And something tells me two years of constant skirmishing will benefit the GOP in 2028.

Watching the riots in France and Italy, rioters storming the Colosseum, the UK committing suicide, and then seeing the subterfuge being planned by the left in the US, I don’t see how any of this ends without civil war, perhaps in several nations at once. It can happen, and the likelihood is increasing. It would be foolish to think it can’t or won’t happen.

This is what happens when as a society you become complacent, and when you believe that everything will be as it was without constant vigilance and hard work.

It worries me when politicians say, “Once we’re in power, we’re going to investigate this or that,” without naming an actual crime. And democrats in office do this far, far more than Republicans. In fact, much of the GOP base is unhappy with them for not using it for real crimes they saw during the democrat tenure.

In a healthy system, investigations follow evidence — not political opponents.

A real, non‑biased journalist should immediately ask, “What is the crime?” and then, “Are you proposing to investigate a political opponent in order to find a crime? Is that normal in criminal investigations?”

Because if the answer is yes, They’re normalizing retaliation instead of justice — and that threatens the basic freedom all Americans should have to disagree, support any candidate, and vote their own convictions.

https://learntocarry.com/files/On-Sheep-Wolves-And-Sheepdogs.pdf

The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a
lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for
violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog
must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any
sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb
will be punished and removed. The world cannot work
any other way, at least not in a representative democracy
or a republic such as ours.

Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant
reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would
prefer that he didn’t tell them where to go, or give them
traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in
camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would
much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray
paint himself white, and go, “Baa.

The sheep dog looks and acts very much like a wolf. Make sure you understand the difference.

Why should such commie trash be afraid? Nothing happens to them. They spew hatred and continue to be employed at taxpayer expense. They issue threats and no one goes to jail.

They have been trained to be offensive and violent.

If the GOP, cowards that they are, fear retaliation from the demon-rats, they will vote the way they are told.

We had the last 2 years to really make the lefts life miserable and nothing really happened. Trump could have really gone bonkers on the socialist and communist thieves and he didn’t for whatever reason so I’m really not gonna feel as bad when it happens this time around.

To: MtnClimber; Bob Wills is still the king
Many FReepers have been warning about what will happen if and when the Dems take control of the federal government again: many Republicans and their other political opponents will end up in prison.

In one recent posting, I spoke of these concerns, only to be "corrected" by a fake Republican, Bob Wills is still the king, who admonished me by saying only Elon Musk and a small number of other individuals need be concerned about prison time. He's lying or willfully ignorant. The Dems have diabolical plans on how to silence their political opposition, and some of their leaders are speaking out and reminding us what they intend to do.

Learned this from the film “Open Range”;

Evil people will tell you what they plan to do to you, if you’ll just listen to them.

Well, our side has had the opportunity to send people to prison for two years and the Trump administration, Keystone Ka$h, Bongina, and Bondi/Blanche all failed.

The DOJ has done such a wonderful job prosecuting MAGA priorities that control of the DOJ means nothing for our side.
