Minnesota should be setting off alarm bells in the Democrat Party right about now.
Despite Minnesota being a reliably blue state, Kamala Harris only carried it by five points in 2024, and she had its own governor, Tim Walz, on the ticket with her. That was supposed to be a home-field advantage.
And that was before the massive fraud scandal blew up in their faces.
On Tuesday, the nonpartisan Cook Political Report shifted the Senate race from Likely Democrat to Lean Democrat. Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, the Democrat nominee, still clings to a narrow edge, leading by four points in a Minnesota Star Tribune poll from earlier this month. That lead falls within the margin of error, which makes it a lead-in-name-only.
But it’s getting even worse for Flanagan.
On Wednesday, NBC News chief data analyst Steve Kornacki went on the Today show and made it quite clear that the GOP can win this election.
"There does seem to be a tide within the state that's working against Democrats," Kornacki said.

Walter is a smug leftwinger posing as an unbiased analyst who goes on leftwing TV to paint rosy pictures for Democrats. CNN's Dana Bash recently said to Walter "I adore you" just as Walter gushed the Dems will win it all on November 3.
As others have pointed out, many of her predictions turn out wrong. Things are starting to look so bad in MN for Flanagan, Walter really had no choice but to downgrade the race from "Likely D" to "Lean D."
Tafoya can with this. I sent her $50 and I encourage fellow FReepers to do the same (more if you can afford it).
In 2026 America, there is nothing non-partisan. There is Trump and his people, and there is everyone else: the RINOs are like my father's Democrats, and the Democrats are Marxists who think they can manipulate blacks, Muslims, Hindus and illegals.
Dana better be careful.
Amy’s wife might think she was hitting on her.
my daughter played softball with Amy Walter in college. No, my daughter is not a lesbian.
Why would they panic?
In blue states where an election is close or the GOP is closing, they don’t worry. They have the machine well tuned to deal with “close” elections. We all know how that machine works, so no need to recap.
In red states? Well we have the “oh shucks, we lost a close one and blame Trump” machine all ready to go as we watch the shenanigans turn said red state into a blue state. For example, Arizona.
I understand your sentiment perfectly and you’re not wrong.
If Mondale wasn’t from Minnesota, Reagan would have won a 50-state sweep. Only DC would have gone Democrat. Isn’t it something that the seat of the US government is overwhelmingly Democrat?
“ I understand your sentiment perfectly and you’re not wrong.”
I can’t think off the top of my head what the last blue state was that elected a Republican in an upset. Mass?
I’ll join you on that.
Sucking up to Muslims for votes, Democrat Peggy Flangan (left) stands beside her best friend of 25 years. Her friend, a Muslim, is now accused of massive govt fraud. But braindead Lt Gov Peggy "did not know" about the govt fraud.

Democrat Senate candidate---Lt. Gov Peggy Flanagan (shown), leads by a minuscule four points (Minnesota Star Tribune poll earlier this month).
The widespread massive Somali fraud is a driving issue in Minnesota politics this election year, but the tipping point may well have been a Somali gang shoot out that caused a panic evacuation of a homecoming football game in Eden Prairie, a liberal Minneapolis suburb. The Walz administration first denied that Somali gangs even existed, then when perpetrators were arrested they were quickly back on the street. The Somali gang violence has now come to the liberal enclaves and has caused a panic.
Mondull
they are canada south in minnesota. but maybe the shi-t in Minneapolis will wake them up.
