Abdul El-Sayed tried to shut down Bret Baier Friday as the Fox News host attempted to ask the Michigan Senate hopeful a question about the Muslim Brotherhood.
The polarizing Democrat immediately got defensive and repeatedly interrupted Baier during an interview on “Special Report” as the newsman pressed him on a 2012 letter addressed to the leader of the extremist group in Egypt that was signed by El-Sayed.
“Bret, Bret … no, no, no … let me just stop there,” El-Sayed interjected, cutting off Baier before he could finish the question.
“You are asking this question to raise the question about whether or not I have dual loyalty,” the former public health official assumed.
Baier shot back: “I’m not, this is specific.”
“My loyalty will be to the Constitution of the United States, and as as every senator who’s ever served, I will swear an oath to that Constitution,” El-Sayed said, interrupting the host again.
Undeterred, Baier attempted to ask the question once more, but El-Sayed, again, started talking over the journalist.
“I’m not interested in anything you’re going to pull out from a 2012 statement, a letter, you’re going to pull that out of context, you’re going to ask questions about my allegiance,” he said.
“Don’t be Rogers’ campaign. Be a journalist,” El-Sayed snapped.
“So as a journalist,” he told Baier condescendingly, “if you’re asking the question about my allegiance to the Constitution: I have never been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I never will be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I am interested in serving the United States. I’m interested in swearing an oath to the Constitution that every senator has sworn oath to.”

Bret handled it well, like the mild-mannered kind of guy he is. El-Sayed on the other hand, handled it like the jihadist that he is. He wants to steal the show. He wants everyone to know how things are going to be. His ability to handle disappointment leaves a lot to be desired. His expectations are unrealistic. At what point he could go from being annoyed to being violent I have no idea.

When I lived in Cairo 1997-2000, Mubarak had some 30,000 of these Muslim Brotherhood extremists incarcerated. Yes, 30,000. Egypt hated them and knew they are a threat to safe society.
After the Egypt revolution they got out, and during the Biden revolution most of them came here as invaders.
These people need to be removed from the country whether legal or not legal here. We need a reconquista here like Ferdinand and Isabella did in Spain, or you will be living under Islam and Sharia law. That is completely opposed to a free nation under laws of a Constitutional Republic.

This is perhaps the crux of why Islamism is NOT compatible with Western Culture. If lying, to advance Jihad, is blessed by their ‘God,’ how on earth can anything they say be believed? The Triune God admonishes us that lying is a sin and Allah blesses it if it advances the suppression and conquest of the world.

As candidate Mike Rogers said in one of his debates, a number of countries have banned the ‘religion.’ We must do likewise. Islam is a craftily, Luciferian designed ideology that encompasses a totality of life and soul ideology, geared to totalitarianism. So, whether it is Islamism or Communism, they both are an anathema to Western civilization. We need to work to make this understanding universal to the world.
