🚨 BOOM: The New York Times just had to pull 15 midterm polls after the "pollster" behind them ADMITTED almost all of it was FAKE.

The firm is called Wedgewood Polls. It pumped out made-up numbers from June to October, and the Times put them right on its official poll tracking pages.

The Times says it vetted them first.

Wedgewood's own words on how easy it was to fool the media: "Far too easy."

This is the same paper telling you which polls to trust.

Trump has been saying it from day one. Now they're proving it for him.

Almost all polls are suspect. What decent, rational person (Republican) would accept a call from a stranger and then discuss and disclose with this stranger his personal political beliefs. These polls would be more accurate if they listed the number of people who refuse the call.

So, what are the REAL poll numbers?

That’s true, but look deeper - who says they even MAKE the calls? They could be fabricating all the data and the supporting data so the statistics wizards won’t detect anything...after all a simple computer program could do this decades ago and AI would take it to a whole nuther level. Basically tell AI what message you want to send and it will make up a poll and all the internals to prove what you want.

There is NO transparency, no accountability. The polling companies just spew it out and their partners in the media publish and promote it like it was Gospel.

Its’ the biggest scam in the history of Earth.

Why do politicians pay many millions of dollars for private polls when the public polls are free. Just pick up your morning newspaper and the info is free.

They do this because they all know the public polls are polls to influence and not determine reality. Thus they pay big bucks for the truth.

We don't know. No one really knows. That's why all conservatives/GOPers need to ignore the polls and vote.

Trump told the crowd today that we are keeping the House AND Senate, now either that’s wishful thinking on his part or he knows something..at this point who knows, just vote..ALL POLLS ARE BS

Wedgewood’s own letter says that they had “no history, formal credentials, or real data behind the vast majority of [their] releases” prior to being “added to major polling aggregators.”

In short, the @nytimes is LYING when they said they vetted Wedgewood Polls.

Wedgewood admitted they did it as an experiment.

They wanted to see who would buy it hook, line and sinker.

I suspect they didn’t pull them because they were fake. I suspect they pulled them because they got caught.

But I have a suspicious nature.

Right. They sabotaged their own credibility as a polling agency, to do “an experiment.” Sure, I believe that.

This is the second group to make that claim.

Median Strategies admitted to faking polls in August.

Something else must be going on here. Two groups claiming election experiments? Maybe these groups thought they could run a psyops propaganda play on Republicans and got caught, so now it was an "experiment" to cover themselves from legal liabilities for election tampering?

Experiments are done in a laboratory, not a live federal election for the control of government. If they wanted an experiment in polling, they should have focused on Coke vs. Pepsi.
