What replaces a nation that apologizes for existing?
France is burning again. This isn’t new, as France has been stacking it for decades. Civilizations rarely die when the barbarians arrive at the gate. They die when the gatekeepers forget what the gate is for.
In his televised address, French President Macron asked in anguish, “How can French people do this to France?” The question assumes a shared heritage and commitment among “French” people. It implies a clear and precise answer to a prior question: Who is French, and why does it matter?
The reality is that France long ago lost the ability to answer clearly. And a nation that cannot define itself cannot defend itself. France is losing its civilization by policy, not by accident, through four self-inflicted failures.
First, citizenship without assimilation. For at least two generations, France has treated its citizens as interchangeable units, making no distinction between those who inherited the nation’s story and those who merely sought its passports. This fanciful experiment worked as long as newcomers were few and eager to be absorbed, but it evidently collapsed when large, concentrated, uncontrolled communities arrived, many shaped by Muslim particularities that claim a higher law than the French one and see themselves as apart from France, not part of it. Surveys have repeatedly found that large shares of young French Muslims place religious norms above the laws of the Republic. Paper citizenship cannot manufacture loyalty. Only a confident culture that expects assimilation can do that, and France no longer expects it of anyone.

The worldwide leftist media machine is so desperate to pin this all on French “students” who are fed up with the French government. A lot of Middle Eastern looking faces among the rioters, and doubtful many of them were “students”!
The globalists said that borders don't matter.
The globalists said that nationalism was evil.
The "French" people have no allegiance to France. The "French" people would be happy to dynamite the Eiffel Tower or burn the contents of the Louvre. Why should these "French" people care about any of that?
The globalists want to have their cake and eat it too. They should ask Marie Antoinette how that went for her.
>>a nation that cannot define itself cannot defend itself.
bears repeating...
Civilizations rarely die when the barbarians arrive at the gate. They die when the gatekeepers forget what the gate is for.

This is a clever line.
I like it... but its wrong, at least for current contexts.
There is a global conspiracy to cause mass migrations, and there are certain people in power who are a part of it. It’s not that they didn’t man the metaphoric gates. They swung them wide open.
Nice concise analysis of how we got here.
Will enough people wake up in time to reverse it here?
If people would just tell the damn left to go to hell they’re would be no problem.
How can the radical communists and jihadist invaders do this to France? It is obvious. Macron needs to remove his head from his dark and smelly location.
I think you are right.
The identity of the invaders means less than the fact that national governments wanted them, there. The “Leadership” was looking for an “out”. They didn’t even try to bring in people who could extend the current system. They brought in Leaches and Parasites to destroy it.
America organized taxpayer-funded caravans of mostly Catholics from Central and South America. Was this a “Catholic” invasion? No, but America did not have access to such large numbers of invaders of any other kind.
Still, Minnesota has been re-worked by Somalian invaders and Ohio by Haitians - only because America’s Federal leadership wants it to be so.
GREAT article from A.S. Ibrahim. Thanks for the ping & post. BUMP!
