Barack Obama is like a firefighter parachuted in by the Democratic Party at times of crisis to put out fires.
So when he weighed in on Sunday on the federal investigation of Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar over potential allegations of immigration fraud and financial offenses, you just knew that the party is seriously worried about the national implications if she were to be indicted and potentially denaturalized and deported.
Railing against the “appalling” investigation, Obama claimed Omar was “a law-abiding elected official” targeted because she “has dared to criticize the president,” and we should all be “outraged” about the weaponization of the Justice Department.
“It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say.”
That’s quite some chutzpah from the former president who launched the Russia-hoax persecutions of Trump.
But when it comes to the far-left Somalian-born congresswoman from Minnesota, there have long been rumors that she married her brother for immigration purposes.
Republican donors in 2021 spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on private investigators to covertly obtain DNA samples of Omar and her second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who was living in London.
The samples gathered from discarded Coca-Cola cans, hair and cigarette butts were submitted to Endeavor DNA Laboratories.
The test results stated there was a 99.999998 percent chance that Omar and her now ex-husband, Elmi, are siblings.

How Real-World Sentencing Works-——If an individual is convicted of multiple offenses, the actual time served rarely equals the sum of all statutory maximums. A judge determines the final sentence using several guiding principles.
Sending her back to Somalia would be letting her off too easy. For her immigration and financial crimes, she should spend years behind bars. When her sentence has been served, then send her back.

• While some Democrats have criticized the timing of the action (noting it happened close to an election and violated traditional Justice Department norms against public actions near midterms), mainstream leaders have generally stopped short of offering full declarations of innocence or mounting a coordinated defense campaign.
• Over the years, some of Omar’s remarks regarding Israel, foreign policy, and 9/11 caused friction and public disputes with members of her own party, making some colleagues more reluctant to mount a unified defense when she’s under attack.
Not to worry Obama, it’s nothing personal. Todd Blanche is just Trump’s wingman.

Your average MN voter pays zero attention to elections and just votes like their parents did.
UNLESS you lie to them.
Building a RICO case against Omar, the AG and the Gov will implicate the local TV and newspaper.
It is not just immigration fraud. She also committed fraud on her Passport.
Plus, apparently her “sister” may have turned on her to save her own skin.
This is what typically happens in RICO investigations. All the little fish turn on the big fish to save themselves.
Ilhan is part of a criminal conspiracy.
All the Dem politicians know it.
That is why you are not hearing from AOC and the rest of the Squad. They are all keeping their mouths shut.
They are trying to distance themselves from her.
In some ways she was set up. She is a post turtle, just like Obama.
I wonder if Obama might be one of those big fish after this little fish?
