Bikers for Trump Alaska has endorsed Republican Bernadette Wilson for governor, adding another grassroots group to her roster of supporters as Alaska enters the final stretch before the Nov. 3 election.
The endorsement follows President Donald Trump’s backing of Wilson at his Oct. 13 rally in Wasilla. Trump’s endorsement placed the president squarely behind Wilson in Alaska’s contest for governor. He said he had asked Dave Bronson to suspend his campaign and that Bronson agreed to suspend, but then went back on his word.
Bikers for Trump is a national political organization composed primarily of motorcycle enthusiasts who support Trump. Founded in 2016 by South Carolina chainsaw artist Chris Cox, the group became known during Trump’s first presidential campaign for organizing supporters and providing an informal volunteer security presence at events.
Cox famously described members forming a “wall of meat” between disruptive protesters and people attending Trump’s inauguration festivities in 2017. That visible presence helped make the bikers one of the recognizable grassroots groups associated with Trump’s political movement.
The group also has a history of organizing in Alaska. In 2020, Bikers for Trump promoted pro-Trump rallies in Palmer, Big Lake, and Homer.
Wilson’s other endorsers include Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, US Sen. Marsha Blackburn, Alaska Congressman Nick Begich, and Florida Congressman Byron Donalds. Christians for Bernadette also supports her campaign.
She has additionally secured endorsements from Turning Point Action and Turning Point PAC, the political organizations affiliated with the broader Turning Point movement. Both list Wilson among their endorsed candidates for 2026.
The Bikers for Trump Alaska endorsement adds a local grassroots component to a list that includes prominent national Republicans, conservative political organizations, and faith-based supporters.
Stephen Patrick Holmstock is not only the president of Bikers for Trump but is the national organization’s chaplain. He has been part of Bikers for Trump since the organization’s inception.

I honestly don't care much but for the fact it might tilt the senate race to Peltola.
It’s really not that close. Wilson should win by double digits (Trump won the state by 13 percentage points), but the polling doesn’t reflect the ranked choice voting. Wilson will win the second round easily.

What’s Behind the MASSIVE Biker Support for Trump?
not much current news but maybe gearing up for the next election?
What do these “bikers” do for the 8 months in a year when they can’t ride? /s
Where is Sarah Palin?
She’s due to get tapped for the Athens gig.
Train for the Iditarod?
Come on old timer “We’re Dykes on Bikes”
I remember years ago (2006?) when they were doing a ride I for POW/Veterans. They were waiting for Sarah Palin who was going to give a speech. We had stopped at this restaurant along the way for lunch. When we came out we saw all these motorcycles blocking our exit. I summoned up the courage and went up to one and told him we could not get out. He yelled out to several other riders and it was like Moses parting the Red Sea.🤣
We don't know and we don't care. All we want is for her to stay out of Alaska politics forever.
