The shooting unfolded in a special needs classroom, Bend-La Pine Schools Superintendent Steven Cook said at a news conference today.
The gunman was a special needs student in that school in the past, he said.
“There were students of different ages in the classroom at the time of the shooting,” Cook said.

I have a feeling that mother is going to end up in jail for giving her son that gun for his birthday. That seems to be a trend nowadays, especially Oregon.
Strangely enough, Oregon has very lax criminal laws regarding parental involvement in the transfer or use of a firearm by a minor child, in the commission of a crime.
‘special needs’ is a label that brings in billions for the big medical-pharmaceutical-educational-fedschool-welfare complex in leftist run states.
they have every reason to exploit the vulnerable and fallen and keep that money flowing. there’s a lot to this story we don’t know yet. however, thank God and His Foreknowledge in placing an armed, skilled, and courageous Dad in a position to stop that mad, messed up, possibly drugged up kid.

That is so shocking to me. Obviously the mother was an idiot to give her special-needs child at 16 a gun. But I’m so sick and tired of these parents getting put in jail for it. It’s just another way to pass on personal responsibility. I’m thrilled that a liberal state like Oregon has smartened up at least on this.

Do not believe anything from the local press. They lie. The kid was known to police and had a long history of violence. Oregon schools will not allow anyone to deal with violent kids because ‘that’s racist’ even though the kid was white. Everything in this fetid state encourages evil and violence because they cater to the demons in southeast portland.
We’ve known single mothers unable to manage their boys who look to the ADA, kook psychologists and special needs programs to “care” for their sons.
