Trump defunded them b/c DOGE said $20B tax dollars to USAID was of no benefit to the US.
Now leftist govts in Ecuador, Bolivia, Honduras, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Columbia and Brazil are free-market oriented.

While the schme was being exposed by people who are Democrats who were being informed of their donations through ActBlue, by conservative activists and the donors denials of them being even able to afford those donation amounts.
The Democrats are crooks nad liars. They got away with that scheme for decades, but sooner or latr the truth eventually becomes exposed.
