Pastor Frederick D. Haynes III, who leads the 13,000-member Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas and is running for Congress, was accused in a 2009 lawsuit of sending $2,000 to a woman who allegedly mailed him a topless photo.
Haynes is the pastor of Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, and has her endorsement to succeed her in Texas' deep-blue 30th Congressional District. His former executive assistant, Elizabeth Payne, claimed he told her to wire the money to a female "mentee" named Lisa Harrod for travel expenses, The Washington Free Beacon reports.
(snip)
Payne claimed in the lawsuit that she was fired in August 2008 after Haynes learned she was having an affair with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Wright, a United Church of Christ pastor, is known as the spiritual mentor of former President Barack Obama, and Haynes has called him an "adopted father."
In his deposition, Haynes neither confirmed nor denied having an affair with Harrod but said he never saw the card with the topless photo. He described himself as her "spiritual mentor" and acknowledged meeting her for lunch in Miami in 2008.

An Ankh instead of a cross in what I presume is the pastors UCC church. Why am I not surprised?
2000 dollars for a topless photo seems a tad much when you can endless topless photos for free.
He is bad with his money, I wouldn’t vote for him.
My gracious. A respected man of the cloth. A distinguished religious leader. A spiritual mentor of our greatest and most beloved President. The man who said "not to say God bless America but I say God d#@n America" as Barack and Michelle leaned back, their faces pointed upward as gales of laughter overtook them in the pew. /S
LOL!
Hope Haynes didn’t get any “spiritual mentoring” all over her, like “Rapin’ Bill” Clinton’s “presidue”...
I’ma gonna need some documentation
He attached a handwritten note to the money he sent her: "May this be a start of the money you should devote to implants. Soon."
It’s not his money. It’s free money from the church. It doesn’t matter what it costs.
Are you from Missouri, the Show Me State?
The female ambassador?
An ankh.
She said those photos were to be sold as a Set.
One photo = 50% of the “Display”.
So, even at $2000. for ‘services rendered’, he only purchased one half of the “Set”.
“She said: I explained it to him over and over!”
(SARC) ///
They had porn on the internet in 2009 too
And it didn’t cost $2000
The LAST “C” in UCC should NOT BE THERE!!! They seem NOT TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST!
Yeah, that leaped out at me when I first saw the image.
On the upside, at least he’s into breasts and not little boys.
